Petřkovická hůrka
Současný stav:
Tuto lokalitu jsem poprvé navštívil v roce 2008 a od té doby jsem tu byl zhruba desetkrát. Po mineralogické stránce je tu vyhledáván mandlovcový pikrit, který obsahuje velké mandle ve velikosti desítek cm. Výplň tvoří převážně kalcit a taky chalcedon. Jádro mandle tvoří křemen, který zřídka přechází ve slabě fialový ametyst. Velmi pěkné jsou ukázky chalcedonu, který díky své vrstevnatosti tvoří po vybroušení velmi vzhledné ukázky. I druhý typ chalcedonu je velmi efektivní. Jedná se o polokulovité agregáty hnědé, někdy bílé barvy pokrývající plochu desítek cm2.
Krom těchto minerálů se dají v okolí kamenolomu sbírat aragonity, které představují nahnědlé protáhlé jehlice zarostené v kalcitu, vzácněji aragonit krystalizuje volně do dutin - tyto ukázky patří k nejlěpším.
Z této lokality je taky popsán heulandit - i ten jsem zde našel, jedná se o velice drobné kulovité agregáty 0,Xmm cihlové barvy. Dalé se tu dá nalézt zelený mastek a mléčný opál.
Tato lokalita je stálě nadějná, což potvrzuje poslední dobou značná aktivita svěratelů. Přesto se stále dají najít slušné ukázky křemene, kalcitových mandlí, chalcedonu a opálu při troše štěstí i aragonit. Ametyst je poměrně vzácný.
